Afterwards, they collected all the tips. From Clusity and in collaboration with Inspiring Fifty Belgiumwe like to contribute to more visibility of women (in tech) in the media. Below you can find the first part of their tips!

3 tips from Carole Lamarque For connecting your expertise to current events.

  • Read the news, national and international so that you pass up as little as possible within your passion.

  • Above all, do not try to be slow; old news is not news.

  • Also, dare to contact a medium yourself to share your knowledge.

3 tips from Françoise Chombar To avoid mistakes.

  • Always check your source's background and make sure your source has good credentials.

  • Never respond if it is a comment that affects you deeply, and certainly not immediately, feel free to sleep on it.

  • People who attack you personally and go over the top in the process can mute you if necessary. You just have to put it aside sometimes.

3 tips from Ingrid De Poorter to get started right away

  • Make sure you are always available. For some issues, journalists need you immediately.

  • Know well who your target audience is so you can target your message to the right people. What would readers like to find out?

  • To deliver a simple and understandable message, Ingrid always thinks about how she would tell her mom.
