Event recap: 'How to level up your career as a dev?
Together with the developer network women.code(be), we organised an interesting evening with various speakers on 18 November. The theme of the evening was about your career as a developer, and how to shape it.
Ksenia Karelskaya kicked off the event with a short tech talk on Imposter Syndrome. This was followed by Laila Deeb who gave a very enlightening talk about the different career paths, specialisations and growth directions within software development. After this, we held a panel discussion during which we invited the 2 speakers and 3 Cronosites, Keshia Niemegeerts (managing partner at Optis), Nadya Essebbar (Full Stack Dev at Narato) and Aagje Reynders (Front-end Dev at Wheelhouse Agency), to exchange their experience and share tips. Finally, we ended the evening with a nice networking moment.
