Why we know how to help you....

The Including Behavior Workshop is taught by Rein Meirte and Elke Kraemer, both certified trainers, and that was developed by Dr. Carolin Ossenkop and Dr. Hans van Dijk of the Including Behavior Institute.

Elke has more than 25 years of experience in the tech industry and deep insight into what are and are not inclusive cultures. Rein, as an innovation specialist, has spent her career in tech and uses innovative concepts to make inclusion negotiable. Together, we bring a unique blend of experience and expertise. So we know how to support your team.

Our approach

Experiential learning. We are doing inclusion! We start with an exercise to experience hierarchy, privilege and inclusion. This clarifies the importance of diversity and teaches inclusive behavior as an active activity.

  • In the second part, we reflect on our own behavior and that of others. We discuss how small gestures can have large effects on feelings of belonging or being excluded.

  • In the third part, we explain why inclusion can be both positive and negative, and how exclusion does not always have to be bad. This helps in discussing values, jokes and micro-aggressions within your corporate culture.

  • Duration of the workshop:

The length can range from 1 to 4 hours, depending on your needs.

    Number of participants:

Suitable for groups of 10 to 100 participants.

    Trainers:

Depending on the group size, we work with 1 or 2 trainers.

    Investment:

It varies between €1000 and €3000, depending on the duration, group size and number of trainers.

Key Learnings for your team:

  • Embed the concept of inclusion through experiential learning.

  • Understand that inclusion is not always good, and exclusion is not always bad.

  • Bring your team together through a unique and educational process.

  • Based on research from the Inclusive Behavior Institute.
