Looking back: lecture - negotiating with love
Together with the fantastic event location dunden we organised an interesting lecture with Stephanie Blommaert on 15 February, where she shared her experience and knowledge of negotiating.
During the lecture, Stephanie discussed the five types of negotiation, which are dealt with extensively in her book. She also emphasised the principle that every negotiation always has three components: people, relationship and content. Only if we pay attention to them in good proportion during or before the negotiation do we stand a chance of concluding it with a win-win situation. Finally, Stephanie advised us: use your heart and don't forget your mind. It was an interesting and inspiring presentation; we will definitely be finishing her book!
