Women -especially in tech- can often feel disempowered when it comes to taking up space, speaking up and bringing their ideas to the table. Today's political climate doesn't help, leaving many feeling overwhelmed or even hopeless.
However, strengthening your sense of agency is a powerful way to reclaim influence and create change. And learning how to advocate-for your beliefs, your ideas, and the change you want to see-is the key to making it happen.
Agency is the capacity of an actor to act in a given environment.
Advocacy involves actively supporting a cause or promoting a particular viewpoint to bring about social change.
Our Clusity ambassador Annica Ryng, Senior Public Affairs Advocate & Communication Director, will host this online lunch session.
In this online session, Annica draws on 20 years of experience advocating for policy change across the fields she worked in, including LGBTQI+ rights, women's rights, social rights, and creators' rights. She'll share practical insights into what agency and advocacy mean in action, and share my tips on how to create plans for policy change and building professional networks. These are transferable skills, no matter your role or sector.
Join us for this session and learn about taking action and using your voice to inspire the change you want to see in the world, no matter who you are and where you stand.
