An inspiring evening for students, women with a career in IT, girls facing their choice of study and everyone interested in WOMEN IN TECH!


This event will be held in English.

On 28/4 it's International Girls in ICT day and we like to celebrate it! On this fun evening, we provide 4 keynotes by ladies in tech and an inspiring, interactive networking session.

Speaker 1: Hannah Patronoudis, Managing Partner of Craftworkz

Three years ago, Hannah Patronoudis was still an intern at Craftworkz. Meanwhile, she can call herself Managing Partner of this innovative business unit. For all the crazy tech buzzwords she has already executed a project: from chatbots, artificial intelligence, blockchain to NFT's, Virtual Reality, ...

 

With more than 20 years of working experience in IT and Information Security, Charmaine passes on her knowledge at KDG University of Applied Sciences as a teacher of Cross-Cultural Competence. She also works as Cyber Security Risk Manager at Bridgestone. In this talk Charmaine tells us about the "Hurdles and girdles in ICT", the challenges and opportunities for women in tech.

 

Céline Verwilligen is 'not your usual ICT girl'. After 2.5 years as a DevOps at FlowFactor, she is able to fully express her social talents in her work. Her love of knitting, drawing, friends and going out break all the stereotypes of the IT worker.

 

Laila Deeb gives a Tech Talk on "Growing beyond a junior developer, what is next?" She is a passionate Software Engineer who drives digital product development in cross-functional teams. She has extensive experience in developing innovative web applications and is a teacher and trainer in higher education in Software Engineering.
