In this afternoon session we start with a techtalk by Vanessa Rivera Quiñones on the use of Computer Vision for yoga pose detection with a demo. Afterwards, we will have a short yoga session with experienced yoga trainer and Cronosite Ann Van Turnhout! No experience required, just a towel, blanket or yoga mat 😉
Who is Vanessa Rivera Quiñones?
Vanessa is an AI Coach at BeCode, where she combines her skills in data science and mathematics with her passion to make technology education accessible to all. During this Tech Talk, Vanessa will give a brief introduction to the field of computer vision and showcase some popular applications using projects from BeCode alumni.
BeCode is a non-profit organisation that aims to bridge the gap between motivated jobseekers and the labour market by using the digital skills shortage as a lever for a more inclusive workforce. BeCode offers free training in the IT sector to anyone motivated to change their life, from web developer, AI operator, DevSecOps developer, SAP consultant to end user.
Who is Ann Van Turnhout?
Ann has worked for the Cronos Group for almost 10 years and her role is to meet entrepreneurs, professionals and young talent to enable innovation, growth and creativity for our group. Her personal approach is more important than ever for internal and external talent. As an experienced HR consultant and entrepreneur, she has already had quite a journey in the business world. From that experience and knowledge, she has guided, advised and coached many people.
Ten years ago, Ann started a deep-dive as a yoga teacher, also trained in meditation and breathing techniques. With a decade of teaching experience, you can experience her expertise every Thursday afternoon in Cronos! Her yoga style specialises in Ashtanga and Yin yoga.
