Winter is coming, and what better way to embrace the season than by making inspiring connections, enjoying cozy drinks and engaging tech talks? We welcome you to this Women in Tech Community event: 3 inspiring lightning talks and a DEI panel!

Lonneke Spinhof

Immerse yourself in the wisdom of female tech experts who will share their insights, experiences and visions. In the first Tech Talk takes us, Lonneke Spinhof: Visionary UX strategist and founder of Humix into the world of "User Experiences."

Lonneke Spinhof is a UX strategy veteran with more than 20 years of experience, who has been fascinated by interactions between users and products since she studied Product Development. Her journey began in college and led to a tech startup. For more than 12 years, she has been a driving force at Humix, where she co-founded the company as Managing Partner and UX Strategist. Lonneke and her team specialize in developing and refining digital products and websites. Their main mission is to align digital solutions with the needs of end users and businesses. Lonneke Spinhof is a guide to creating exceptional "interfaces" that are accessible to all. Explore the world of user experience with her during our upcoming tech talk.

 

Bélise Songa

Bélise was born in Kenya of Rwandan parents and raised in a French-speaking family in Belgium while studying Dutch. She has experienced different cultures and environments, which has greatly enriched her as a person. She believes this diversity makes us all unique and contributes to creative and innovative thinking in the workplace.

Her passion lies in people management, particularly within the context of digital transformation. She is excited about the changes so many organizations are undergoing, and she is eager to help lead these transformations by empowering and engaging employees.


Nassima Jellouli

Nassima is a Senior Software Engineer at Trimble Transport & Logistics, Belgium. With a solid career spanning over +10 years, she has been a driving force in the development and improvement of advanced software systems. Previously she held the position of Java Software Engineer at Total, specializing in Java and JEE technologies and holding roles as Java Software Engineer at Lampiris and bpost.

Known for her proficiency in software engineering, she brings a dynamic skill set and a passion for innovation to the ever-changing landscape of software development.

Diversity & Inclusion Panel

Hear how companies that absolutely excel at DEI are tackling certain topics. Meet the four amazing panelists eager to share their knowledge, experience and wisdom with us! Why does a DEI Director decide to pursue a Masters in DEI after 20 years? Why is it that DEI is critical in an Employer Branding strategy? How does someone manage to create a sense of "connectedness" among 19,000 employees, and how can you initiate an inclusive culture through HR policies?

We will discuss this and much more during our DEI panel!

Aurelia Takacs - Global DE&I Leader, Cisco CX Centers at Cisco

As Global DE&I Leader at Cisco for CX Centers, Aurelia Takacs executes DEI strategy, priorities, planning and initiatives for CX Centers organization of approximately 9,000 employees around the world. Aurelia focuses on advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion through three key pillars: attract and hire, develop and retain, and create a sense of belonging and engagement for all the diverse talent in the organization.

Aurelia also spearheads the "Belong" pillar as part of Cisco's global CX DEI Leadership Council, which includes more than 19,000 employees worldwide, driving programs focused on creating a culture of belonging across the full spectrum of diversity. Aurelia has extensive experience in leadership roles and excels in staff development, coaching, mentoring, communications and project management. She is fluent in four languages and has a background in leading multi-cultural teams across the globe. This panelist offers us interesting global perspectives for our DEI panel!

Charissa Neggers - Employer Branding Specialist at OMP

Charissa Neggers is Employer Branding Specialist at OMP and has a unique blend through her education and experience. Armed with a degree in psychology and a master's degree in communications, Charissa began her career in HR at leading Belgian companies. In 2022, she brought her expertise in Employer Branding to OMP, where she further enhanced the company's reputation as a top destination for talent. Before her role at OMP, Charissa excelled as Employer Branding and Recruitment Expert in Logistics and Supply Chain at Colruyt Group and as Talent Acquisition Specialist at De Lijn.

Evy Meirhaeghe (she/her) - Expert Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Evy Meirhaeghe (she/she) is currently on a "sabbatical" to complete her"Masters in Gender and Diversity." She will then resume her role as "Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Cummins Inc." She brings her 20+ years of holistic HR leadership experience in Europe, UK and Africa to our panel. 

Evy's expertise in leadership development, talent management, HR business partnering and crisis management has consistently delivered measurable and lasting impact. Evy enjoys working on diverse teams and is passionate about empowering underrepresented voices in decision-making. She is dedicated to connecting people across boundaries to foster collaboration, innovation and mutual understanding.


Sofie Vergult - Vice President Human Resources Power Technique Service Division at Atlas Copco

Sofie Vergult brings her extensive experience of more than four years in her current position and nearly nine years at Atlas Copco Airpower to our panel discussion. Sofie has been instrumental in shaping Atlas Copco's HR landscape and where she began her career as an HR Consultant and later HR Business Partner. She earned a master's degree in Human Resources Management /Personnel Administration from Antwerp Management School in 2001. With Sofie's rich experience in the technical industry, we can expect valuable fresh insights from her during our panel!
