Artificial intelligence (AI) 🤖 is conquering the world like a rocket! As AI tools and services become increasingly accessible and comprehensive, you may be wondering about the ethical considerations in using and building AI solutions. AI may seem like a panacea, but it can reproduce many of the biases we have as humans.

In this workshop, we will discuss the types of biases present in AI, explore some examples using demos, and share some strategies to mitigate these biases.

Vanessa Rivera Quiñones (AI Coach, BeCode.org)

BeCode is a social relevance-focused school of digital skills and coding that uses an active pedagogy to teach in-demand digital skills to motivated people in vulnerable professional situations so that these untapped talents can meet the needs of the job market.
