On November 16, discover why the Supply Chain world can be a perfect match for women with a passion for tech. During this unique event at OMP's beautiful building, we will unveil the splashy synergy between technology and the world of Supply Chain, highlighting international career opportunities tailored to individual interests. As a niche with a lot of female power and a lot of diversity, supply chain is still underexposed as the place for women in tech. We will change that on this inspiring evening!

On Thursday, Nov. 16, we promise you an in-depth exploration of technology in the Supply Chain industry, and we will highlight why this is an exciting career opportunity for women with a passion for tech.

One of the highlights of our program is the keynote by Annemie Wagemans, Global Strategy Director Supply Chain at Chemours. Annemie will share her unique insights, delving deeper into the specific agile processes involved in Supply Chain projects. Her keynote will provide a valuable perspective on the practical aspects of Supply Chain projects and the role of technology in them.

In addition, we have put together an exciting panel, where several inspiring women will speak. Each has built successful careers in the Supply Chain Tech industry and will discuss their own unique career paths. In the panel, we will address their journey, skill development, career progression, achievements and the challenges they have overcome. We want to provide you with valuable insights and inspiration to carve your own path in the tech world.

The keynote & panelists for this inspiring evening:

Keynote: Annemie Wagemans, Director Enterprise Transformation at Chemours

Annemie is an inspiring pioneer in the world of technology and supply chain management. With a deep-seated passion for change and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Annemie has embarked on a remarkable journey within Chemours. A journey that has made her explore new territories and experience diverse cultures in four different countries.

Annemie has just stepped into a new role as Director of Enterprise Transformation, but in her previous role as Global Director of Supply Chain Business Transformation, Annemie's mission is clear: to bring Chemours' supply chain into the 21st century by driving the digital revolution throughout the supply chain. She also takes over as leader of Chemours' Global Supply Chain Council, a crucial decision-making body supported by Chemours' executive team.

Annemie's impressive career rests on a solid foundation of education. She earned her MBA from the prestigious Vlerick Business School, a testament to her commitment to continuous growth and development.

Currently, Annemie calls Belgium her home, and she is a wonderful example of women not only thriving in the tech industry, but also driving profound transformation and innovation in the field of supply chain management.

Keynote: Elke Servaes , Associate Director of Excellence at OMP

A Global Leader with 20 years of people/team and project management experience in an international consulting environment, Elke excels at managing state-of-the-art technology projects. Elke ensures strong communication and close connection between technical and business-facing staff, bringing structure and clarity to complex and cross-functional environments.

Before Elke became Director Excellence at OMP, she had been with OMP for over 15 years, previously as Vice President Customer Solutions in the U.S. where she led a team of 100 people. prior to that, she was Associate Director Semi Process in Belgium, where she was responsible for a team of consultants and project managers. In previous roles as Team Manager Semi Process and Supply Chain Project Manager, Elke has led customer implementation projects and initiated the Project Management Office. Her career began as a Supply Chain Consultant and evolved to Senior Supply Chain Consultant, combining technical and commercial roles in the chemical and food industries for over 12 years.

During her keynote, she gives us more insights on workforce planning for projects like Chemours and discusses the talents and profiles needed to run projects successfully.

Our panelists for this evening:

Soizic Launay is an experienced Supply Chain professional with more than 22 years of experience in various roles at OMP. She is currently working as Senior Quality Assurance Test Manager, a position she has held since January 2021. Prior to that, she worked as Senior Scrum Software Testing Manager. But she has experience that goes far beyond testing, having also worked as Logistics Manager at Cadbury Schweppes and Chef d'équipe conditionnement at Nestlé. Soizic holds degrees in Biochimie Alimentaire and Maitrise de Biologie Moléculaire from prestigious institutes in France.

Jie Wu is an internationally experienced Supply Chain Consultant at OMP, with an impressive 16 years she has been with OMP. Prior to this role, she worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Antwerp for 2 years, gaining valuable academic and research experience. Jie Wu earned a Master's degree in Industrial Management in 2003, highlighting her strong educational background and dedication to the field of supply chain consulting at OMP. She obtained her first degree in China where her outstanding work gave her the opportunity to do her Master's degree in Leuven.

Megan van Zyl is a Consultant at OMP in the Netherlands, with a B.Eng in Industrial Engineering and has been with OMP for almost 2 years, working on digital supply chain planning solutions. Previously, she was Demand Planner/Procurement Manager at Kaap Agri Bedryf Bpk and Vistex SAP Consultant at Vistex in South Africa. Megan has also completed internships at VALSTRAT, Curro Holdings Ltd, Incanda Furniture and PEP. Her diverse background and expertise make her a valuable asset to our panel!
