This event will be held in English.

Also this year, we are celebrating the International Girls in ICT day! In the theme of "Decoding ICT," we want to make the incredible tech world more accessible to everyone! The ideal time to come and soak up the atmosphere of the #womenintech community, learn about the importance of how we shape tech for the future and of course just try out some fun stuff yourself! On this cozy afternoon we foresee several interactive activities, a giveaway from 2x Coolblue worth 50 euros, some inspiring talks and a speed networking session. Not to mention free food, drinks and a full goodie bag 🪴!

  • Laila Bougria: Demystifying software

    Many misconceptions exist regarding the software engineering profession. In this session, Laila, a senior software developer and KdG alumnus, will provide insights into what it truly means to be a software engineer, debunking common misconceptions and setting real expectations for careers in software development.

  • Rucha Vaishampayan: The road to AI engineer

    Rucha is your non-stereotypical geek, working as an AI Engineer at Fit-For-Purpose Technologies for 1.5 years. Her background in Statistics propelled her to advance into a career in AI. She believes in making conscious choices in her career and prioritizes balancing work with dancing and running.

  • Kimia Namadchi: A Fashion-tech StartUp

    After a career at Deloitte & Google, Kimia became an entrepreneur. Moreover, a fashion-tech founder of the brand CurveCatch. With Computer Vision (Artificial Intelligence) & an online questionnaire, she helps women find the perfect bra without all the hassle of visiting a lingerie store. The story begins with ... "An engineer and a lingerie lover enter a cafe ..."
